carcassonne-edicion-espanol
Carcassonne (Portuguese)

Carcassonne is a tile-placement game in which players design and place a tile depicting a piece of the southern French landscape. The tile can represent a city, a road, a cloister, a pasture, or some combination of these, and must be placed adjacent to tiles that have already been played, so that cities are connected to cities, roads to roads, etc. After placing a tile, a player can then decide to place one of their meeples in one of the areas of that tile: in the city as a knight, on the road as a thief, in a cloister as a monk, or on the grass as a farmer. When that area is complete, that meeple scores points for its owner. During a game of Carcassonne, players are faced with decisions such as: “Is it really worth placing my last meeple there?” or “Should I use this tile to expand my city, or should I place it near my opponent, making it harder to complete the project and score points?” Since players only place one tile and have the option to place a meeple on it, turns happen quickly, even though it's a game full of options and possibilities.
